Songs of a Synsuous Nature #18 - Metal Tears

Tears of metal slice down my cheeks.
The bloody trails offer no relief.
My love has been dead less than a week.
How can I live with such grief?

My heart can scarcely contain the pain,
Caused by the news with which his sister came.
A dagger in my chest would have been sweeter,
Than the tears she brought when I did greet her.

He left me his vineyard, he left me his house.
The gods of the sea stole my spouse.
They took my heart and broke it in twain.
Will it ever be whole again?
